People, Places, Processes & Products that Influence the Supply Chain

HPN Hall of Fame

In the Byzantine world of healthcare purchasing, products and processes may matter the most but overall people make the difference. People evaluate, acquire, use and dispose of products, as well as adopt and implement processes to operate more cost-effectively and efficiently. While it may not be rocket science, it's definitely an art form to influence and negotiate with others to achieve a common purpose. Since its inception in 1977 Healthcare Purchasing News has recognized this and has chronicled people's stories of success and failure-on-the-road-to-success, from which readers can learn and propel the profession. From those efforts emerged a series of awards bestowed on the best and brightest of the industry.
