The Time Out Bag
Healthmark’s new Time Out Bag is validated for
use inside of instrument trays and containers to hold separate items, in
compliance with AAMI ST79. Printed clearly on the bag is the message
"Time Out", alerting staff to take a critical pause during surgery
preparation. This paper bag is made of 100% medical grade paper, which

Surgical light source

LumitexMD “BRICK” medical grade light source provides bright white light
for excellent surgical site visualization in a small, portable,
cost-efficient package. Using a 24 watt Solarc high-intensity arc lamp,
the BRICK provides white light (5,500° K) in a very small package
measuring 5.8” X 3.5” X 2.8”, with a light total weight of 2.2 lbs. It
is ideal in combination with LightMat, VersaLight, or a headlight in
surgical centers where space and cost are key factors. The optical
design provides more than half the brightness of a typical 300 watt

patient-worn monitor
provides the performance of a full-size patient monitor packaged in a
compact patient-worn telemetry device for adult and pediatric patients.
This design supports initiatives to mobilize patients as early as
possible to accelerate the healing process and provide a consistent
level of monitoring care while mobile. The device monitors ECG and SpO2,
has built-in algorithms to enhance ECG processing and reduce false
alarms – such as pacer detection software and an arrhythmia analysis

call housekeeping feature
Use Jeron’s Housekeeping/Room Ready
feature with the Provider 680 Nurse Call system to help improve
communication and bed management. As a patient is transferred from a
room or is discharged, an attendant presses the "Housekeeping" button on
the station, which notifies Housekeeping, via pager, that a room needs
cleaning. An associated PC in the Housekeeping dept. displays room
status, including rooms that need service. Once the room is clean,
Housekeeping presses the "Room Ready" button to send a page that the
room is available and update status on the PC.
