The American Hospital Association (AHA) launched a new data tool that lets hospitals compare their financial and operational performance anonymously with their peers based on revenue flow.
The AHA Vitality Index offers a dashboard for tracking claims processing and reimbursement across payer, specialty, patient type and many other criteria.
Allowing hospitals to anonymously benchmark their operational performance against that of their peers to understand if payers are treating all hospitals and health systems equitably and fairly. Analysis of reimbursements can be broken down by a number of criteria, including: payer, specialty and patient type.
