Adventist Health System is seeking qualified candidates for a Supply Chain Procurement Manager position that will be based in Altamonte Springs, FL.
The Supply Chain Procurement Manager supervises Supply Chain Procurement Agents to promote timely and accurate purchasing of goods and services. Manages the routing of purchase requisitions to the appropriate Procurement Agents for order placement as well as expediting of orders, returns, and other customer requests. Prepares service level metrics and interpretations. Supports Procurement leadership in efforts to increase operational and transactional efficiencies. Identifies training opportunities and coordinates efforts with the training department for both Supply Chain Shared Services and Supply Chain field-related needs. Acts as a PeopleSoft procurement process subject matter expert for others in the organization. This position is both accountable to Supply Chain Shared Services as well as field operations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year accredited university or college required or seven years of related field experience required
- Minimum of five years of managerial experience required
- Minimum of ten years of experience in purchasing or a related field required
