Help needed: HPN and Greenhealth Exchange (GX) second Sustainability in Healthcare Supply Chain Survey input

Sept. 23, 2020

Greenhealth Exchange (GX) and Healthcare Purchasing News (HPN) announced the 2nd Sustainability in Health Care Supply Chain Survey, stated a GX press release. The survey is open for responses and will close on September 30.

The survey is collecting feedback from the provider community. Respondents submitting data to the survey will receive the survey report as a thank-you for participating.

“The 2018 survey was the first of its kind focused on the work healthcare supply chain is doing in sustainability and is designed to capture extensive information around progress, obstacles and priorities for those efforts taking place within our readership. This second survey looks to determine trends, progress or changes in priorities for this work”, said Kristine Russell, Executive Vice President, Endeavor Business Media, LLC and Publisher/Executive Editor, HPN. “We are excited to be working jointly with the team at the Greenhealth Exchange to bring this information to the market and believe the addition of the survey results to our annual sustainability focused issue will provide a comprehensive portrait of ongoing endeavors.”

The survey data will be analyzed and reported in the November issue of HPN, which focuses on Sustainability in Healthcare. “The ability to compare trending data around the sustainability work taking place in the healthcare supply chain will be very helpful for the industry. It will determine where success can be realized as well as where additional tools and resources should be developed. But also, the premise of the 2018 survey of identifying new opportunities, avoid pitfalls, benchmark efforts will also be an outcome. We think it will be an incredible resource for the industry,” said Mary Starr, Vice President, Greenhealth Exchange.

The survey will take respondents only 10-15 minutes to complete and questions are targeted at the organization as a whole as well as work specifically in supply chain. In an effort to get a good representative sample of the work taking place, the survey will be distributed and communicated via link to HPN subscribers as well as through banner ads and a web landing page.
