Medical billing approach helps communities through philanthropy

Feb. 7, 2019

Zotec Partners, a provider of medical revenue cycle management for specialized medical groups, has launched PAYperless Giving, a secure way for patients to pay their bills while going green and donating paper savings to charity.

PAYperless Giving allows patients to receive secure text message notifications about their medical encounters, authenticate their information, view e-statements, and pay their bills. Once enrolled, patients simply select from a list of charitable organizations and Zotec donates part of the paper savings to the charities of their choice.

According to Zotec’s Founder and CEO, T. Scott Law, Zotec thinks differently about the healthcare financial experience, and this latest patient experience offering is reflective of that. He says that  “Text messaging is an effective way to connect with patients as consumers in the new healthcare landscape, and it’s actually a method many prefer, with preferences to receive appointment reminders, payment reminders, and bill pay through texts, as opposed to phone calls or traditional paper statements.”
