TPC announces new president and chief executive officer

Former Vizient executive brings 30 years of experience to new post.

TPC, provider of supply chain, purchased services and revenue cycle solutions, has announced that Roger Nolan will be the organization’s new president and chief executive officer. TPC says Nolan’s appointment is the result of an extensive search process conducted by a TPC board-appointed selection committee.

Nolan brings more than 30 years of healthcare industry experience through a variety of leadership positions with a focus on strategic planning, operations management and organizational development.He most recently served as a Principal with Vizient in Business Development & Practice Operations.

“I am thrilled to be returning to TPC, moving from a trusted business partner to an organizational team member,” said Nolan in his statement. “Long recognized by the participating member health system’s unique approach to collaboration, TPC will continue to innovate and deliver on the highest standards of quality, value and stewardship in the communities they serve.”

In addition, Nolan has held senior titles at MedAssets, Broadlane, US Cryotherapy, CMR2 Ventures and LBA Healthcare. Nolan has extensive knowledge of TPC as he led the MedAssets team that was dedicated to the TPC account during their past partnership.

“The selection committee was involved in an extremely comprehensive search process which we believe produced a very qualified slate of candidates and ultimately identified the best individual to lead TPC,” stated Chris Glenney, TPC board chairman, in the statement. “Roger exhibits the experience and leadership skills our board considers essential to the success and growth of this organization.” 

Nolan’s employment with TPC will commence in early September.
