Richard A. Norling Premier Alliance Excellence Award Winner: Atrium Health
This member exhibits deep strategic alignment with our alliance’s mission to transform healthcare together; consistently delivers an exceptional level of care, improving the health of its communities; supports Premier’s collaboration goals by freely sharing best practices and successes; and reduces costs and improves clinical quality and safety through broad utilization of Premier data, services and technology.
Monroe E. Trout Premier Cares Award Winner: Community Enhancement Collaboration, Inc.
The annual Monroe E. Trout Premier Cares Award honors not-for-profit community agencies, programs and health organizations that support those excluded from, or underserved by, the mainstream health delivery system. To be considered for this application-based award, a program must successfully address a worthy, well-defined, unmet need and must operate independently from a hospital or healthcare system. Applications are rigorously judged by two separate review panels on innovation, outcomes, ease of replicability, financial impact and future vision. Winner receives a cash prize of $100,000 from Premier.

Premier's Breakthroughs Conference focuses on the future by showcasing a small number of disruptive technologies and promising innovations discovered by forward-thinking companies. The speed, accuracy and precision of this year’s featured healthcare solutions are not only game changers, but life savers. As always, the winners were selected by a member committee of clinicians and other healthcare professionals.

These awards honor members that create care delivery practices to improve patient safety and enhance quality of care. Winners are selected based on care delivery practice effectiveness and potential applicability to other healthcare settings.

The Supplier Diversity Award for Members honors health systems that have established active programs to evaluate and support minority-, women- and veteran-owned enterprises and small businesses that are a part of Premier’s contract portfolio. Members are evaluated on engagement in diversity initiatives through community involvement, diversity business outreach initiatives, benchmarking and best practices sharing.
The Supplier Diversity Award for Suppliers recognizes contracted vendors that have made important contributions to developing and nurturing diversity programs in their organizations and in their communities. Suppliers are evaluated on internal and external diversity outreach initiatives, benchmarking and best practices sharing.
Supplier Horizon & Legacy Award
The Supplier Horizon and Supplier Legacy Awards celebrate Premier contracted suppliers who’ve supported our members through exceptional customer service and engagement, value creation, and a commitment to lowering costs. Winners are selected by line of business member committees. Members depend on our suppliers to provide the best service and the greatest value and these suppliers have gone above and beyond. Suppliers that have contracted with Premier for less than three years are Horizon Winners; suppliers that have contracted with Premier for more than three years are Legacy Winners.

Supply Chain Excellence Award
The momentous supply chain issues wrought by the COVID-19 pandemic were daunting for the entire healthcare industry. While our supplier community extended overwhelming support, a few of our industry partners exhibited exemplary leadership by collaborating with Premier in an extraordinary way in service to our members. To honor these outstanding companies, we have created the COVID Supplier Awards. Chosen by Premier’s Strategic Advisory Committee, these companies are: Battelle, Lowe’s and Owens & Minor. QUEST Heroes Premier honors all QUEST members for their distinguished service in keeping patients first amidst the 2020-2021 COVID19 public health emergency.
