Medline is expanding its U.S. supply chain network by breaking ground on a 1.2 million-square-foot distribution center in Midlothian, Texas, its first new facility since going public in late 2025. The site is expected to be operational by the second quarter of 2027. It will increase the company’s footprint to 46 distribution centers nationwide.

The new facility is part of a roughly $150 million investment to support growing healthcare demand in the Dallas-Fort Worth region and complement Medline’s existing nearby distribution center in Wilmer, Texas. The project reflects Medline’s broader strategy to scale logistics capacity, improve product availability, and strengthen supply chain resilience for healthcare providers.

The expansion signals continued investment in domestic distribution infrastructure, aimed to help providers reduce delays and manage supply, especially in a critical post-pandemic healthcare supply chain environment.
