Rousseau has announced the launch of R-Go motorized toolbox – an innovative transport tool designed to safely carry heavy loads over long distances.
"Employers are increasingly concerned about the impact of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) on the health of their staff. As the name suggests, the R-Go motorized toolbox meets the strictest requirements for ergonomics and safety," said Michel Lacombe, Deputy General Manager at Rousseau.
The motorized toolbox is based on the R Heavy-Duty Cabinet, one of the company's flagship products. The toolbox handle features three move modes for when the toolbox needs to be moved. It can be used on both flat and sloped surfaces. Using a combination of electromagnetic brakes, polyurethane ball-bearing wheels and motorized wheels, moving the toolbox is easy and safe.
By reducing considerable physical effort and the risk of injury reduced costs associated with workplace injuries while improving employee retention. The R-Go won silver at the European Product Design Award 2018 for its creative, functional and innovative design.
