C Change launches a significant upgrade to SurgiSLUSH during AORN

During the exhibit hall opening at the AORN 2019 Expo in Nashville in April, C Change demonstrated a new upgrade to its SurgiSLUSH line.The equipment upgraded from analogue controls to touchpad technology, making it fully-automated and programmable.   

"At the end of the day you can pre-set our system - just like you would do a delayed start on your coffee machine - and literally while you're driving to work it will make slush that is ready to go when you get there for the first case," said CEO Patrick Kammer, who collaborated with nurses and clinical experts throughout development. Kammer said competing slush makers do less and cost more, claiming the product is the only one on the market that not only automatically makes slush but maintains the slush with protected sterility - and for almost $20k less per unit.
