As highlighted on the AORN website, November 13th through November 19th is Perioperative Nurses Week.
Our theme this year, #PeriopProud, is meant to inspire perioperative nurses to reflect on the value you bring to patients, your team, and the facility where you work. Perioperative nurses are detail oriented, always up for a challenge, have a passion for caring for others, and are capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting. Periop nurses have been described as patient, flexible, team players, calm under pressure, and effective multi-taskers who have a wicked sense of humor.
