The Association for Health Care Resource & Materials Management (AHRMM) of the American Hospital Association (AHA) has announced via a press release that Mike Schiller has been named its new executive director.
A press release from AHRMM says that “Schiller has more than 35 years of leadership in the health care supply chain and association fields. Schiller has served as the interim executive director of AHRMM since late 2023. Previously, he represented AHRMM as senior director of supply chain, developing strategic partnerships and collaborations throughout the provider and supplier communities, regulatory agencies, AHA senior and policy leadership and other key stakeholders across the healthcare field.”
Further, “During his tenure with AHRMM, Schiller has been a strong advocate for the supply chain field, dedicated to nurturing relationships and building bridges. As executive director, he will continue to emphasize relationships and collaboration, with a renewed focus on members’ needs.”
Schiller made a video statement outlining his initial priorities in his new role.
