ECRI Announces New Spend and Recall Management Solutions Company

ECRI has announced that its Spend Management and Recall Management solutions divisions have been spun out into an independent company called Staritas. PR Newswire has the release.

Staritas will aim to “expand on the development and delivery of AI-powered solutions and insights that empower leaders to manage the growing complexity of supply chains with greater intelligence.” The company will aim to combine the “largest independent source of healthcare supply and capital datasets with deep expertise and advanced analytics to help organizations in over 70 countries understand market trends and better manage their supply chains.”

The company’s new CEO, Emmet O’Gara, stated that Staritas will remain devoted to providing “data-driven insights that help healthcare organizations optimize operations, save money, and strengthen decision making.”

ECRI’s CEO, meanwhile, said that ECRI’s services and solutions are now focused “exclusively on creating resilient and safe healthcare systems and assessing technologies used in those systems.”
