IAHCSMM’s 2019 Annual Conference & Expo to deliver ‘A Fresh Perspective’

March 20, 2019

The 2019 IAHCSMM Annual Conference & Expo, taking place April 27-May 1 in Anaheim, CA, will provide Central Service/Sterile Processing (CS/SP) professionals with a wide range of educational and networking opportunities to advance their knowledge and elevate the quality of their departmental practices. This year’s Conference & Expo theme is “A Fresh Perspective.”

The Conference & Expo will deliver to more than 1,000 attendees from across the globe an array of educational sessions taught by some of the industry’s leading experts. Attendees will also have an opportunity to explore some of the industry’s most innovative technologies, products and services, and meet with vendor representatives who can answer questions about their offerings. Additionally, attendees will be able to meet fellow CS/SP professionals, engage in problem-solving and best practice discussions, learn fresh new ways to meet the needs of their healthcare customers and, most importantly, help ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care. Attendees can earn up to 23 continuing education (CE) credits to apply toward their recertificaton; additional CEs can be earned by participating in vendor-provided education during the Expo.

Those arriving to Anaheim early can participate in pre-conference hands-on labs and workshops. Concurrent hands-on labs and workshops are offered to conference registrants at no extra charge. Other pre-conference workshops, including the Educators Forum, A Fresh Look at CS Management, and the StrengthFinder Workshop, require an additional registration fee. Note: All pre-conference education offerings are offered on a space-available basis. Early registration is recommended for the paid pre-conference sessions.
