Healthmark, a Getinge company, has introduced a new AAMI Level 4 Decontamination Gown designed specifically for sterile processing professionals working in high-fluid environments. The gown meets ANSI/AAMI PB70:2022 Level 4 fluid barrier standards and features a reinforced diamond front panel intended to provide enhanced protection against fluid and microorganism exposure during instrument sorting and decontamination activities.

Developed around the unique demands of sterile processing workflows, the gown is 40% lighter than Healthmark’s previous decontamination gown and includes an adjustable waist closure for a more secure fit. Healthmark says the new design balances protection, comfort, and usability, helping technicians work safely and efficiently in demanding decontamination settings.
