The American Nurses Association (ANA) is ringing in Nurses Week by “lighting up over 50 city skylines, landmarks, and participating hospitals across the country for the organization’s ‘Nurses Light Up the Sky’ campaign.” Nursing World has the news release regarding the event.

The campaign is “designed to rally citizens across the country in support of nurses.” Many states and territories in the U.S. are taking part in the campaign.

ANA’s theme for Nurses Week 2024 is “Nurses Make the Difference,” meant to “honor the incredible nurses who embody the spirit of compassion and care in every healthcare setting.” They are encouraging everyone to take photos of their city’s participating landmark and post it using the #NursesLightUpTheSky hashtag.
