SMI to host Webinar with the Strategic National Stockpile

Sept. 22, 2021

SMI, a non-profit, member-driven community of healthcare supply chain organizations, will be hosting a special webinar event for the healthcare industry on September 28th, 2021, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM ET entitled, “Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) – who, what, where, when...and what’s next.”

SMI is inviting the entire healthcare community to participate in this one-hour live complimentary event, to learn more about the future of the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS), which is managed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response.

SMI through a collaborative partnership with the SNS started working together this year to build understanding on where industry partners and providers can better engage with the SNS and ultimately drive more effective processes and communication. Attendance at this event is open to anyone in the healthcare industry.

Presenters for this webinar include SNS Strategic Logistics Branch’s Bryan Heartsfield, Supply Chain Interface Team Lead and John Fredenberg, Deputy Branch Chief.

SMI’s Associate Executive Director, Nancy Anderson said, “we hope members of the healthcare industry join us for this important event with Bryan and John as we learn more about the role the SNS plays in crisis management and when to best utilize the resources they provide during national emergencies. We’ve learned so much through our collaboration with the SNS, and we’re ready to share and showcase our progress with the industry.”

Register here for this complimentary event.
