FTC greenlights UPS's $1.6B purchase of Andlauer Healthcare Group, boosting UPS's healthcare logistics expansion. AHG shareholders to receive CA$55 per share in cash.

On June 25, the Federal Trade Commission approved UPS’s $1.6 billion acquisition of Andlauer Healthcare Group (AHG), a Canadian company specializing in temperature-controlled logistics for the healthcare industry.

Originally announced in April, the deal advances UPS’s ongoing expansion into healthcare logistics. AHG shareholders will receive CA$55 per share in cash, bringing the total transaction value to approximately $1.6 billion USD. Once finalized, the acquisition is expected to strengthen UPS Healthcare’s cold chain capabilities, specifically in the transport and storage of biologics and next-generation therapies.

In 2023, UPS Healthcare generated $10 billion in revenue and aims to double that by 2026.
