March 2, 2026

Key Highlights

  • The mPower platform uses AI analytics to predict supply chain disruptions before they occur, enabling proactive responses.
  • Early pilot programs include prominent health systems such as Inova, Ohio State, ProMedica, and UCHealth, testing the platform's capabilities.
  • Features include demand-supply alignment, vulnerability alerts, and an AI chat assistant powered by Microsoft Copilot and Azure.

Medline Industries has started deploying its mPower™ platform, an AI-enabled supply chain solution, with pilot programs underway at 10 major U.S. health systems. Participating organizations include Inova Health System, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, ProMedica and UCHealth. These early adopters are evaluating and fine-tuning the technology ahead of a broader market release.

The mPower platform is built to strengthen supply chain resiliency through real-time AI analytics that help providers anticipate disruptions rather than react to them. By aligning demand forecasts with supply data, the system flags vulnerable items and supports proactive decision-making. It also features an AI-powered chat assistant leveraging Microsoft Copilot and Azure to streamline user queries and workflow integration.

Following the pilot phase, Medline intends to expand mPower in phased waves beginning this spring and continuing through 2026, with initial implementations projected as early as May.
