Avery Dennison Corporation announced that its medical businesses — Vancive Medical Technologies and Finesse Medical Ltd. — have been rebranded as Avery Dennison Medical. Avery Dennison Medical has a heritage of materials science, innovation and advanced manufacturing capabilities, and has been active in the healthcare field for more than 40 years.
The new brand is being showcased and exhibited, along with eight new products, at this week’s 2019 MEDICA International Trade Fair in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Avery Dennison Medical is a key supplier and partner for medical device manufacturers and converters. The company offers advanced adhesive materials, including customized solutions, pressure-sensitive tapes, and converted components for applications such as wound care, wearable devices, ostomy appliances, surgical drapes and diagnostics. They also produce private label wound care and skin care products to enable device original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to quickly and easily expand their portfolios and fill gaps in their product range.
In 2012, Avery Dennison’s medical division was branded Vancive Medical Technologies, and capabilities expanded to provide device OEMs with a full range of services needed to move products from development to delivery. The acquisition of Finesse Medical Ltd. in 2017 expanded Avery Dennison’s medical business by increasing its manufacturing capabilities and adding a wide range of high-quality private label wound and skin care products to its portfolio.
