Keeping up with technology is one of the most challenging aspects of an OR leader’s job. The hybrid OR exhibit, a cornerstone of the annual OR Manager Conference since 2014, is now part of an expanded OR of the Future exhibit at this year’s conference September 18-20 in New Orleans.
Two steering committees consisting of OR nurse leaders from across the US will be on hand to answer questions during two town halls and a happy hour. In addition, leading industry experts will conduct tours of the exhibit.
The schedule is as follows:
Wednesday, September 18
4-5 pm: OR of the Future town hall: Facing the challenges of emerging technologies - there’s no crystal ball for that
5-6 pm: Happy hour with the OR of the Future Steering Committees
Thursday, September 19
9:30-10:30 am: Hybrid OR town hall: New perioperative technology: What are you afraid of?
11:00 am-noon: Tours of the hybrid OR
