Hall of Fame for Healthcare Supply Chain Leadership to host 13th annual induction event tonight – virtually

Bellwether League Inc., the Hall of Fame for Healthcare Supply Chain Leadership, announced an invitation to attend the 13th Annual Bellwether Induction (Virtual) Event (BIVE) tonight when it will recognize 11 professionals in the Bellwether Class of 2020, the Future Famers Class of 2020 and the 2020 Honoree of the “Dean S. Ammer Award for Healthcare Supply Chain Performance Excellence.” 

BIVE13 begins at 7 p.m. Central with a 90-minute video tribute to the 12 men and women of distinction and honor that also serves as Bellwether League’s traditional tip of the fedora to National Healthcare Resource & Materials Management Week.

Once the initial broadcast airs the video will be archived on Bellwether League’s web site for future viewing. 

For those of you who have never attended a Bellwether League event, tonight’s broadcast will give you a tour of the ongoing mission and vision of the organization and its annual event. Historically, this has been a ticketed event, but this year, due to the pandemic, Bellwether League opened the celebration of honor to everyone around the globe who would like to participate.

The Bellwether Class of 2020 includes: Jack R. Anderson, Doug Bowen, Gregory R. Bylo, Fred W. Crans, Kathleen Garvin, Edmond D. Hardin, Jr., David Reed and Rita L. White. 

The Future Famers Class of 2020 includes: Hunter Chandler, Director, Supply Chain Information Systems, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC; Jack Koczela, Director of Services, Supply Chain, Froedtert Health Integrated Service Center, Menomonee Falls, WI; and Kenneth Scher, CMRP, Vice President, End-to-End Supply Chain, Nexera Inc., New York. 

The first Honoree of the “Dean S. Ammer Award for Healthcare Supply Chain Performance Excellence” is Randy V. Bradley, Ph.D., CPHIMS, FHIMSS, Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management and Information Systems, University of Tennessee Knoxville, Haslam College of Business, Department of Supply Chain Management.
